"Goals" and Your Team Culture
Dear Uncommon Leaders,
We continue with our focus on “Evidences of a Healthy Team Culture” this week. I hope these Nuggets have been helpful as you continue building healthy and uncommon team cultures within your organizations. Spring forward this week!
Your Sunday Nugget
This Week's Question:
What’s the goal?
This Week's Challenge:
It really is a simple question and you would expect it would be an easy one to answer. Unfortunately, often what follows this question is confusion, cloudiness or ambiguity. The healthiest cultures drive together towards clear goals. They know the goal, they track their progress and they adjust their actions as necessary to pursue the goal.
Your challenge at work this week is to ask your teammates, “What’s our goal?” and see how they respond. If there isn’t consistent clarity, perhaps that’s something for the team to work on.
This Week's Quote to Ponder:
“Goals. There’s no telling what you can do when you get inspired by them. There’s no telling what you can do when you believe in them. And there’s no telling what will happen when you act upon them.” Jim Rohn
Until next week,
